Kathryn brings with her 30+ years of experience in sales, corporate executive management and training and development, facilitating programs in over 16 countries. Kathryn is the President & Chief Learning Officer for her company Hotte Consulting Inc. She was formerly the President of the Durham Home & Small Business Association in Ontario, is past president of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce and currently she serves as president of Empowering Women Entrepreneurs. Her roles have included supporting hundreds of entrepreneurs as a Small Business Advisor, including entrepreneurs with disabilities, she was the Entrepreneur in Residence for Princes Trust Canada (now the King’s Trust), has advised companies as a training and development consultant and has acquired Mental Health First Aid and Trauma Informed Care training. Accolades from all these roles include national and international awards for sales achievement, a Training Excellence award from the Canadian Society for Training & Development, Business of the Year Award, Community Spirit & Mentorship Award and a Women of Influence Award. Kathryn has also published her second book Txting 2 Talking; Disconnect to Reconnect (which she was also honoured to receive 2 awards) and has also added ‘actor’ to her resume by starring in the feature film Moments in Spacetime.
