Ki Wilson has served as the Family & Community Services Supervisor for the Town of Devon for the past 13 years. Originally from the United Kingdom, Ki spent more than two decades in human services, supporting workforce development, service awareness, families, and individuals through prevention-focused approaches. Her experience working both frontline and behind the scenes to strengthen systems, build connections, and improve access to supports has shaped her belief in the power of early intervention and community-driven solutions.

Ki is passionate about making the impact of community work visible. She believes that while data is important, the stories behind the numbers are often what resonate most with decision-makers, funders, partners, and residents. Throughout her career, she has championed approaches that combine evidence, lived experience, and community voice to demonstrate the value of prevention-focused work.

Known for her collaborative and practical approach, Ki enjoys helping organizations identify outcomes, communicate successes, and build stronger narratives around the change they create. She is particularly interested in how storytelling can enhance accountability, strengthen advocacy efforts, and inspire community engagement.

In her co-presentation, "Framing Our Impact: Telling Our Prevention Stories," Ki shares practical strategies for connecting data and storytelling to communicate impact in meaningful ways. Developed in partnership with colleagues from Strathcona County who share a common vision for strengthening how prevention outcomes are communicated, this session reflects the value of collaboration, shared learning, and collective leadership. Ki has thoroughly enjoyed working alongside these smart and passionate colleagues to bring this conversation forward.
