Speaker Bio
I’m a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation within the building and sustainability sectors. As Partner, National Growth and Strategy for Buildings at CIMA+, I lead strategic initiatives across Canada to drive growth, strengthen market presence, and foster innovation in the firm’s Buildings practice.
My technical expertise includes integrated design, advanced building energy simulation, and high-performance development. I’ve led sustainability consulting for landmark projects such as Canada’s first commercial Living Building Challenge development and Vancouver’s first LEED Platinum-certified office. My project experience spans major commercial, institutional, healthcare, civic, and transportation infrastructure.
I bring a proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams, executing strategic plans, and exceeding growth and profitability targets. At Introba Canada, I led a national business transformation, strengthening client partnerships, aligning teams across the country under a unified strategy, and introducing a proprietary service offering that empowered design teams to evaluate thousands of early-stage design options in real time, streamlining decision-making, accelerating project alignment, and consistently reducing construction costs across a wide range of building types.
Earlier in my career, I founded and grew a specialized consulting firm focused on integrated design and analytics, which was acquired within three years, demonstrating my ability to create, scale, and deliver lasting value.
I’m deeply committed to industry leadership and mentorship. I’ve served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) BC Chapter and, since 2018, have been an Adjunct Professor in UBC’s Master of Engineering Leadership program. I speak nationally and internationally on energy performance, sustainability, and design innovation.
I hold a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business Management from the University of British Columbia, and have completed executive education at Stanford Graduate School of Business and Columbia Business School, as well as advanced leadership and communication training through Landmark.
