Edmonton Evergreen FCSS Region is proud to offer the opportunity for our friends and colleagues to explore the diversity of First Nations and Métis peoples at the Indigenous Peoples Experience at Fort Edmonton Park. The award-winning exhibit explores the rich and beautiful cultures of First Nations and Métis Peoples while encouraging visitors to seek out the truths as lived by Indigenous Peoples in Treaty 6. This multimedia tour will be led by Indigenous historical interpreters who share their families’ history in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Beaver Hills House, now known as Edmonton). As you follow the path of the North Saskatchewan River through the space, you can engage with their interpreters, read messages shared by Elders of Treaty Six and the Métis Nation, and experience immersive storytelling
