Prior to elected office, Trevor built a career across senior political staff roles and executive-level government affairs in both government and the private sector. He previously served as Director of Government Affairs for British Columbia at TransCanada Pipelines (TC Energy), where he worked on major infrastructure, energy, and regulatory files. This experience provided him with a practical, systems-level understanding of how public policy, permitting, and regulatory decisions affect investment, job creation, and long-term economic competitiveness.
Trevor Halford brings to leadership experience across government, industry, and legislative oversight, along with a results-driven approach to public service. He believes leadership is measured not by ideology, but by what works, what doesn’t, and whether government delivers meaningful results for the people it serves.
