Jim is the Natural Resources Manager for Tk’emlύps te Secwépemc (Kamloops Indian Band) and a First Nations member of the Canim Lake Band. He grew up with an awareness of BC’s natural resources as his father was active in the forest industry and worked as a hunting guide for Eureka Peak Lodge & Outfitters Ltd. Jim obtained his Bachelor of Science in Forest Management at the University of Alberta, and currently holds the designation of Registered Professional Forester (RPF).
